    "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is located in the Southern Part of Terelj National Park ( GPS: N47°49.893', E107° 31.339') in the beautiful natural Tuul river Nomad's Sacred Valley of streams, pine trees with mountains and steppes in the background , just 55km (25miles) from Ulaanbaatar city (Mongolian Map ) or (Small map)"

    "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is Highly recommended by "Lonely Planet Mongolia", by the author Michael Kohn and Mongolian Tourism Board. "Chinggis" Tourist Camp, was inaugurated in July 2002 in memory of "Chinggis" Khaan's 840th Birthday Celebration!.

    Location: From Ulaan Baatar (UB) to "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is 51 km (25 miles) paved road and 4 km (2 miles) unpaved road , on the road to Baganuur in the territory of Erdene soum, Tov aimag (province), in the Southern Part of Gorkhi/Terelj National Park. This lovely traditional tourist camp owned by Samar Magic Tours LLC, lies on the bank of "Tuul" river between 107°31'29" Longitude and 47°49'32'' Latitude. The average altitude is 1446m (4338 feet) above sea level. "

    A 40 meter (~133,3 feet) Statue of "Chinggis" Khaan on a big horse on Tsonjin Boldog Hill is located just ~3kms (~1,5miles) to "Chinggis" Tourist Camp.
    Around 15km (~7.5miles) Southeast of the "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is an 8th-century Turkic Stele of Tonyukuk.
    The XIII Century Park is located just ~55kms /~25 miles/ to "Chinggis" Tourist Camp, creates real-time micro kingdom to make the lively feeling for its guests during their stay by Genuinely providing true environment of the way of living and working of the XIII century.
    Around 75km (~37 miles) Eastern of the "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve that is on the borders of steppes and forest steppes zones of Mongolia.

    Wildlife Viewing: The River Tuul Nomad's Sacred Valley - The river Tuul is one of the longest rivers of the country, flowing from the Khentii Mountain Range. The valley of the river has been called sacred for centuries by the nomads as they truly respect the nature especially the rivers and the surface water. The beautiful valley in summer is often dotted with traditional Mongolian gers and offers picturesque sceneries. There are national gers in beautiful natural locations, so it's easy to meet with nomads and see their daily lives, interact with them to learn more about the lifestyle of Mongolian nomads, to show you theirs animal training, feeding, milking, food preparation, etc, explore by horse riding, go bird watching, take water adventures, go trekking or walking, go rock climbing, flowers, butterflies, and taking amazing photos, etc. Enjoy stars in the vast Mongolian night sky, when getting dark.     Terelj National Park - is one of the most popular national parks in Mongolia. Terelj is just 70km (35miles) from Ulaanbaatar (UB) and features stunning granite mountains and flowery endless grassy green meadows. This picturesque N.P. is a part of Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. It is a great place for hiking, trekking, even you can rock climb here at its natural steep granite walls.

 Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar (UB) by train or by plane, you are welcomed by Samar Magic Tours's representative and are transferred directly drive to the "Tuul river Nomad's Valley". This is a beautiful valley of streams. There are national gers in beautiful natural locations, so it's easy to meet with the nomads to show you theirs animal training, feeding, milking, food preparation, and see their daily lives, explore , take water adventures, go trekking, swimming in the Tuul river. In route, we will stop to take amazing photos of the 40 meter (~133,3 feet) Statue of "Chinggis" Khaan on a big horse (*do not include the entrance fee-optional payment on site!) on Tsonjin Boldog Hill on Tsonjin Boldog Hill, which is located just ~3kms (~1,5miles) to "Chinggis" Tourist Camp.     "CHINGGIS" TOURIST CAMP: Located in the Tuul Valley, this majestic setting with its green hills and flocks of sheep was reminiscent of Ireland. Most people think of Mongolia as desert, and indeed, the southern part is. Here, though, about 55 km eastern of Ulaan Baatar it was all hills, rivers, and valleys with mountains in the background.

    "CHINGGIS" TOURIST CAMP: When we first arrived in Ulaan Bataar it was late. All we wanted to do was get out of UB and on to the steppe. The next morning we were walking down Peace Street and came upon Samar Magic Tours. We went in and saw their advert for "Chinggis" Tourist Camp. They said, "It has a great location in the beautiful natural Tuul river Nomad's Sacred Valley of streams, pine trees, just 50km to the South-eastern side of "Terelj" National Park and 55km from UB. Our "Chinggis" Tourist Nomadic Camp, was inaugurated in July 2002 in memory of "Chinggis" Khaan's 840th Birthday Celebration!." Well it was out of the budget but it was out of UB and looked great. So we spent the next two days relaxing on the great Mongolian Steppe at the "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Gers Camp.
