Comment about Mongolian Conditions: Your tour involves some days of travelling off the beaten track, with long road journeys by 4WD transport over difficult terrain. Outside Ulaanbaatar, accommodation is in traditional Gers which are circular tents. Facilities are fairly basic, each Ger contains 2 beds, a wood stove, bedding, and a simple chest. Hot water is not always available. Accommodation in the countryside: Most tourists will stay in specially constructed gers camps. These camps provide accommodation in the round felt houses used by nomads and usually have separate toilet, washing and restaurant facilities. Excess baggage: the extra luggage can be stored free at hotel in Ulaan Bataar.
